FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can my dancer do a trial class before actually signing up for the class?
We do allow one free trial class so that dancers can try the class first . However , a lot of our classes fill up at the time of registration. Waiting to do a trial class means the class could fill up before your dancer has a chance to try it. If your dancer does try the class and likes it but the class is then full you can register for our waitlist.
What if I register my dancer for the class and he or she doesn’t like it?
We ask that all dancers give a class at least a month to determine if he or she likes it. Much like the first day of school it does take a little bit of time for classes to get into a routine and for dancers to get acclimated to new teachers, steps, and friends. If after trying it for a while they still do not feel like it’s a good fit for them you can withdraw (please see our withdrawal policies)
What if the actual level for my dancer falls on a day that isn’t great for us. Can we sign our dancer up for a harder level to help with having the class on the day we want?
We know that schedules are busy and it’s sometimes hard to have everything fall on the days you would like. We want our dancers to grow and feel confident with their dance training and sometimes putting a dancer in a harder class that they aren’t ready for can be discouraging and intimidating for them. Most of our intermediate/advanced classes require previous dance training and a level of flexibility that will be needed to be able to properly execute the steps correctly without getting hurt. Please take all of these things into consideration when registering.
How do I know which class is right for me?
The first step to determining the appropriate class for your dancer is to find the appropriate age division.

What if the class I want to enroll in is full and waitlisted?
If the class you’re interested in is already full, please sign up for the waitlist. This ensures you’ll be alerted if a spot opens up. If a space becomes available, we’ll reach out to confirm your interest. Only once a spot opens up we will contact you and if accepting the spot the dancer will be enrolled at that time.
Where do I purchase my dance clothes and shoes?
We recommend purchasing your dance attire here at our dance boutique store inside the studio. K Hart Couture has a variety of leotards, tights, shoes for all age groups. If we don’t have what you are looking for Bellissimo (another dance boutique here in Franklin also carries a large variety of items.
Are there any dance class options for adults?
We do offer open class options most weeks in both Hiphop and also a great adult jazz option for adults/moms that want to dance. Please follow our instagram for details and announcements on what weeks those are offered.
If I miss a dance class, can I make it up?
Sure! During the months of September through December a make-up class can be taken if a dancer misses a class. Students are welcome to make up their class during another class time at their same level or below, as long as the class isn’t already at full studio capacity.
