2024 - 2025 SEASON

Tuition Policies

• Tuition is charged per student and calculated by the total amount of time taken in one week. Tuition price is a monthly price.

• We offer a 10% sibling discount.

• Tuition is determined based on the total number of classes in the year (Aug-June) and is broken into 11  installments. Tuition is not determined by the number of classes in any particular month, as some months will have fewer classes and some months will have more. August and June tuition is prorated since they are not full months. 

• Your first tuition payment is due August 1st and will be prorated due to the August 12 start date. If no payment is received by the 10th the credit card on file will be billed on the 11th for the monthly tuition amount.  Tuition is due at time of registration if registering after August 11th..

• Tuition is due regardless of student absence.

• Missed classes are non-refundable.

• Tuition is NOT prorated for absences, inclement weather days, holidays.

• Tuition will be prorated for students that enroll after classes have begun.

• Tuition can be paid via credit card, debit card or personal check.

  • We require a credit card be kept on file. 

  • Checks can be made out to DC Dance Factory

  • After 11th, a 5% late fee will be charged and enforced on all accounts past due. Late notices will be sent via email. Payments 20 days past due will result in lesson suspension. Payments 30 days past due will result in lesson termination and the date and time slot will be released for new students.

Make-Up Class Policies

• During the months of September through December, a make-up class may be taken up to one month after the missed class.

• Students are welcome to make up their class during another class time at their same level or below, as long as the class isn’t already at full studio capacity.

• Simply email us at dcdancefactory1@gmail.com to let us know that you will be out for your class and if there are questions regarding a makeup class.

• After December, make-up classes are not offered due to recital preparation.

• Make-ups are not offered for inclement weather days or holiday closings. 

Withdrawal Policy

Enrollment at DC Dance Factory is for the entire dance season with the expectation that your dancer will complete the season and finish the year in our end of the season show/recital. We know that sometimes schedules and other things may happen in which your dancer can't finish out the year with us. Please see the details below with our withdrawal policy.

• Withdrawal from any class requires a notice before your next billing date, by the 20th of the month.

• To withdraw from your classes, just submit your request using the dance withdrawal form, any time before the 20th of the current month.

• Withdrawal requests submitted by the 20th will incur no additional charges for the following month. Students remain on the schedule through the remainder of their billing cycle.

• Withdrawals will be effective from the first day of the following month and cannot be processed retroactively. Please note that any recital fees paid before the withdrawal request are non-refundable. These fees contribute to recital preparations and cannot be transferred to other programs or individuals. A $65 registration fee is due at enrollment for each dance season. Registration fees are non-refundable
